FRITSCH recognised with the 2007 Innovation Award

The Initiative Mittelstand has given out the ITK Innovation Award at CeBIT every year since 2004 and since 2006 the Industry Innovation Award at the Hannover Fair. FRITSCH Laboratory Instruments entered with the newly developed planetary mill generation premium line for the area of nano technology. On April 30th, 2007, FRITSCH was recognised with the 2007 Innovation Award in the category of nanotechnology. FRITSCH GmbH - Laboratory Instruments won this award in competition against over 300 candidates. The jury selected the premium line product as one of the most innovative and interesting solutions for medium-sized businesses in the area of nanotechnology. This shows how the long research and development work paid off almost immediately. Of course, the FRITSCH company is also very pleased about the award and about its top product: "We are proud of our innovative "quick and easy" mill. With this new planetary mill generation premium line, we offer our representatives and customers a dozen unique selling points that cannot all be matched by any other planetary ball mill in this solar system," says FRITSCH project manager Markus Bund.

With the new premium line, FRITSCH has once again revolutionised the technology of planetary ball mills. Of course, it wasn't easy to ignore 50 years of planetary mill technology and create a new super technology. But this is how we succeeded in taking high-tech grinding to an entirely new level. A planetary mill with sunken grinding bowls was introduced to the market for the first time. Brilliantly simple – brilliantly effective! This allows for previously unachieved rotation speeds and ultra-fine grinding results down to the nano range.
